Purple Laptops – Features To Look For
Laptops have become extreme gadgets that almost every person wants to possess – either for work or simply for leisure (browsing, entertainment and gaming). Computer manufacturers have explored the laptop market and found that the colored laptops gained new appeal to computer geeks like me. The display in one of the shops of the colored laptops caught my attention. They were beautiful candy colors – red, yellow, green or blue and many more. Physical features – size, weight, screen and color
This is my laptop and it has a wide screen – 15.6” wide screen (measured diagonally) with a 1.3 MP webcam. As for the size, it is a bit big, my preference because of the size of the screen and keyboard. The dimensions are 14.7” W x 9.6”D x 1.5”H. with a screen resolution of 1366 x 768. And of course, the color is purple.
The Central Processing Unit
It has an Intel Pentium Processor which elevates the multi-tasking capabilities; it boosts the productivity. The speed of the processor is 2.2GHz with a system bus of 800MHz. Because of the power of the processor, I am enjoying the entertainment features as well as my hours of internet browsing. Installed are different Microsoft software and more.
As for the memory – 1MHz cache memory, system memory (RAM) equal to 3GB and the system memory is expandable to 4MHz. The memory type is DDR2 SoDIMM and the hard drive type is SATA (5400 rpm). The size of the hard drive is 250GB.
Other features
It is enhanced with optical drive – DVD and CD-RW. It has a digital media card reader with an Intel graphics media accelerator of 4500MHD. It is endowed with MPEG, a built in webcam and microphone, plus a built-in 10/100 ethernet networking (RJ-45 connector)..
